Recognizing the challenges designers face in managing their business, Jenn is bridging this gap with DesignCFO through a holistic approach that merges her financial knowledge and business acumen with her extensive understanding of the design industry. Her goal is to empower fellow designers with the tools they need to manage and optimize their businesses and help them to scale and succeed.

Launching an interior design business takes creativity and a discerning eye; but it also requires a foundation of rock-solid systems and numbers. For many designers, these are the kinds of tasks that can bog them down. But for Jenn, her background in business management and finance allows her to stay focused on the fundamentals and determine what’s necessary to grow. After graduating from George Mason University with a Bachelor's Degree in Finance and a J.D. from the school's Antonin Scalia School of Law, Jenn's career started in corporate tax law in major cities like Los Angeles, Washington D.C., and Charlotte.
to a thriving interior design business
After 17 years, her journey eventually led her to redesign her life, both figuratively and literally, as she left her fast-paced and high-demand career to work with an interior designer and immerse herself in the industry. She founded Habitude Interiors in 2016 and the business thrived - adding employees, growing project scopes and budgets, developing partnerships with builders, architects and industry counterparts.
Jenn’s life and career is good proof that change is constant. In a recent move from Charlotte, NC to Bend, OR, Jenn and family have redesigned life, once again. Today, she’s honing her experience, education, and passion for design into a business that empowers interior designers to build creative businesses filled with knowledge, growth, and freedom.
